We wanted to film skiing with 360 cams, but could be bothered taking extra gear with us. We thought the Insta360 pole mounts were lame, and ruined days on the hill, but we thoughts that the footage was cool, so we designed two mounts that can help make filming that little bit easier.
The two products? The Quarter Mount & the Mono Mount are made so that you can easily attach a 360 camera on the top of your ski pole.

Quarter Mount Deep Dive
The 1/4 Mount is our newest addition to our camera line. Designed to live on your pole, it is also machined from 6061 aluminium, and anodised with our signature royal purple accessory colour.
The 1/4 Mount features a collapsable 1/4 inch male screw. This allows you to directly mount your GoPro Max 2 Insta360 onto the top of your ski pole, while hiding the 1/4 inch screw when your camera isn't attached.
Even if you don't have a 360 camera, the 1/4 mount can be used to easily attach a mirrorless camera to your pole - doubling as a monopod. There are many different attachments out there that are compatible with a 1/4 inch screw, so get creative.
All DEORUM poles have a circular grip, and disappear into the image when you are using an Inst360 or GoPro Max 2 without the standard APOLLO FR / Stash SB Top caps. This is amazing for when you want to ski and film face shots.
If you want to level up even further, you can attach our extender to your pole for next level 3rd person perspective. This can also be used when you are filming follow cams and want to get that crazy close, wide angle shot.

The OG Mono Mount
The OG mount for the top of your pole. This 3-post mount is designed to work with the GoPro standard mounting system. The mono mount is machined from 6061 aluminium billet to make sure it is bomb proof, and can live on your poles.
The mono mount is best for users who want one mounting system for multiple cameras - for example you want to film with both the GoPro Hero & the Max.
If you want to mount an Insta360 to the Mono Mount, you can use a standard 1/4 inch to GoPro Converter on the bottom of your Insta360.
We recommend removing your ski straps when filming to make sure they don't get in the way [the APOLLO FR has tool-free strap removal].

Filming with a pole, rather than just a camera in your hand has a few huge benefits. By making the camera further away from your body, you will get smoother footage, and more creative angles.
