If you are looking at purchasing accessories, you might have questions around what year your poles were / what version they are. In winter 2025/26 we updated the grip diameter and top caps of the APOLLO FR to improve ergonomics, as well as increase the compatibility across our accessory line.
All poles are designed to use the same top cap assembly system, and accessories are now universal across all Deorum poles. Here is a super quick guide to show you the difference between years, and what is compatible and what is not.
How to tell what poles you have
The key identifier is the top cap, and how this looks on top of the grip. The FW2324-2425 poles have a smaller top cap that sits up on a chamfered platform on the grip. FW2526+ poles have the top cap sitting flush.
Reference the photos below to identify the year of your poles.
How to check
You can see in the two photos that the left (FW2324-FW2425) is sitting on a chamfered top of the grip. On the right, the FW2526 poles have a flush top cap, with no chamfer on the top of the grip.
FW2324 - 2425 // V1.1
In winter 2023/24, we launched the APOLLO FR, and ran this grip design + top cap for 2 seasons, through to FW2425. Your Apollo FR will be this version if you bought directly from us or in store before May, 2025.

- To get the floating cam effect with the quarter mount, you will need to purchase the FW2425- spacer, or run the standard top cap with an extender.
- Mono mounts can be run on the existing top cap, you do not need to use the spacer included in the kit.
Pole year
Only the Apollo FR was launched in this year. If you have the Stash SB, your poles have the V1.2 grip are compatible with all accessories, right out of the box.
FW2526 + // V1.2
In winter 2025/26, we updated the Apollo FR grip to improve ergonomics, and align all of our poles to use the same top cap interface & diameter. This means that now, all of our poles can use the same accessories and attachments, improving the modularity of our system for customisation & repairability.
